World Mountaineering

Here are several options for mountaineering. Some other places I would like to visit again and share include: Ladakh, North Cascades, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina and the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Or contact me and share your idea.

Alaska

Alaska is packed with adventure mountaineering minus the crowds and guidebooks. I guide everything from steep mountains in the Western Chugach that require technical climbing to multi-day trips to the Alaskan Arctic. Alaska

Season: July - August

Mount Logan, East Ridge (19,545 feet)

Join Tino Villanueva and I on the second highest summit in North America and Canada's highest summit. We'll be climbing the East Ridge, a route similar to the West Rib on Denali but more remote. Mount Logan

Season: May 31 - June 22, 2012 (23 days)

Alps

The Alps of France, Switzerland and Italy are the world's arena for technical climbing, small packs and huts. Technical routes of all abilities are available. Alps

Season: August - September, 2012

Ecuador

Gain high altitude experience on glaciated volcanoes with low technical difficulties. Between peaks we stay at amazing Spanish colonial haciendas. This is a great training trip before attempting Denali, Aconcagua or other high and cold mountains. Ecuador

Season: December - February
